Programs
Bemis Farms is a played-based child care center. As part of our high quality, developmentally appropriate program, we offer a monthly thematic study that is integrated throughout the curriculum and various classroom programs. We are also a play-based center that encourages social skills and other learning skills that develop as the child is engaged in play. Teachers encourage and support child-initiated and child-directed play because it is essential to developmental and mental growth. To meet the needs of the developing child and provide quality care, the staff at Bemis Farms strives to:
Bemis Farms staff members provide the right start to your child's day with attentive care before school begins. Drop off is available at 7:00 a.m., and transportation is available for your child to Harvest and Houghton by Saline school transportation, or to Pleasant Ridge school by the Bemis Farms van. After School Saline school transportation drops off Harvest and Houghton at Bemis Farms. After school activities include a snack, individual or group activities, a time to play with friends, and an opportunity to get started on homework. Your child must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. The After School Schedule:
K-Wrap K-Wrap is a convenient program for working parents who need child care before or after the child's scheduled Kindergarten session. Educational activities and playtime are included to complement the Kindergarten experience. Transportation is provided by Saline School transportation for A.M. Kindergartners. The K-Wrap Schedule: |

*Time and length of activities may vary, depending on the needs of the children. Pre-K Bemis Farms' Pre-K program provides readiness skills that will help prepare your child for Kindergarten with letter recognition, phonics, number recognition, shapes, and colors. We also work on names, phone numbers, and addresses in addition to other Kindergarten curriculum requirements. The Pre-K Schedule:
Preschool Bemis Farms' Preschool program encourages the development of social and cognitive learning skills. We also offer a monthly thematic study that is integrated throughout the curriculum and classroom programs. The Pre-School Schedule:
Toddler The Toddler program emphasizes the development of physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development appropriate for this age. Loving care is provided to each child. Infant/Toddler The Infant/Toddler program consists of loving and secure care that responds to each child's needs promptly. As Toddlers grow and develop, they will be transitioned into the Toddler group. Summer The Bemis Farms Summer program is full of enjoyable activities and adventures for all ages, with an abundance of playtime, outdoor activities, and a place where they meet their friends. |
